About this piece
The letter board carries capitals on one side and lowercase on the other, vowels in red and consonants in blue. The number board runs 1–11 on the front and 12–20 on the back, every numeral with its stroke order shown.
For the smoothest bead trail, keep the pen upright and move it along the arrows rather than pressing hard. Younger children usually need a grown-up’s hand over theirs for the first few letters, then they are away.
